But if you plan to email these photos to a friend, upload them to the Internet, or share them on Facebook, you may not want to include this information. Anyone viewing these pictures can easily read the location information. Clicking a picture you took at your childs school, for example, would reveal the exact location of her school. Would you want predators or unsavory strangers to know your daughters exact movements, her favorite park, ice cream shop, even the exact location of her bedroom? This sensitive information remains embedded within each picture when it is forwarded to friends, family and grandparents through email, so it is always available regardless of who uploads them.
 
Your only protection is to remove this embedded information BEFORE the picture leaves your device.
